Hey there,
Excellent tutorials, I started using Inkscape a week ago and already learned lots of things from your tutorials.
About this one, I was thinking, you could use “Object Clip” to hide the shadow that bleed out of the badge (the shadow above the grey area).
Thanks for the tutorials.

Thanks for another great screencast, I liked the drop shadow on the ridge between the black section and the green. It’s also a great idea to keep a copy of your tango palette handy this way, that ought to work in GIMP too.
Thanks again

Heathenx, no need to apologize for the delay. As usual, an excellent screencast. It is always a pleasure to see how quickly you guys arrive at such good results. Thanks for the show!
BTW, the FifthLeg font does indeed look odd at first instance when typing “11.1″. I understand you were a bit surprised.

@Serge,
Hey, how ya been? Haven’t heard from you in a while. You’re probably as busy as the rest of us I suspect.
Yes, I was a little surprised by the “11.1″ font boo-boo that I made. I hadn’t worked the the font long enough to know what to expect from it. At first I thought Inkscape wasn’t rendering it correctly. Whoops!

@heathenx. Indeed, I had holidays and moved back from France to Holland which took most of my attention lately. And now I have to wait several weeks for my internet connection in Holland. Duh.
