Are you sure that you have all 4 nodes broken? Select them individually and break them one at a time then try deleting a node. Deleting nodes before they are broken amounts to a distortion of the ring o circle.

I just tried this in 0.47pre0 and it’s working just fine for me.

Hello

I draw a circle
I choose “Object to path”
I choose the node-tool
I choose and “break” all 4 nodes

But if I select and delete the first node my circle is damaged but not cutted.

The one in my firefox looks just little different and the one one here is much cooler (not that plastic-fancy)

Thanks yet again, that was great. I have been buried under my work load and I have not been able to keep up with you guys recently, I really missed them.

I did not know about the break path option, that was pretty cool.

Oh no. I knew we released too many in too short of a time span. I knew we would raise expectations. I’m going back to my usual screencast every 6 months. That way when I do one in 3 weeks, everyone thinks it’s a miracle!

It’s gonna be at least a week or more till I get working on one. I’m currently being fleeced by the Walt Disney Corp. down here in Fla.
