		<description>In the latest version of Inkscape, version 0.48, they have added some letter/word spacing options on the text toolbar that were not present in v0.45. That&#039;s as automatic as you&#039;ll probably get. Works well on text paragraphs, at least that&#039;s what I use it for.</description>
