Maybe its time for a little challange here on your site to come up with something new. Like it should be in the consense of the ubuntu logo but show that there are diffrence maybe get the "K" for KDE more in. or the a glip of the KDE dragon. It's been mentioned in most every location that the logo has been mentioned that the "k" is a placeholder.
