Updated Tango Icons for Inkscape
January 11th, 2009 by heathenxI noticed that an updated Tango icon set for Inkscape had been posted on the Inkscape-dev mailing list. I don’t think it’s finished but it’s more complete than the set that is currently shipped with Inkscape. I am now using it and I love it. Give it a try if you are interested.

Is this a lousy screenshot or what?

Could you check that link to the archive.
I’m getting an error:
“XML Parsing Error: not well-formed”
Thanks. Love your work.

Sorry. You’ll have to right-click on the file and Save Target As to download it. Either that or left-click on it and then click Save Page As (assuming you’re using Firefox).

Of course, that worked.
Thanks.

Hello!
Thanks for publishing the new Tango icon theme por Inkscape.
I have finished it and it is complete, but I think it will not be the default theme in the new version.

@jEsuSda
Thank-you for all of your hard work. I absolutely love the updated icons. Genius!
It’s too bad that they won’t be the default icon set. I think they should be. Anything to get Inkscape, Gimp, and Scribus looking similar would be great in my opinion.

when i change the icon set, the aspect ratio of the icons in stroke and fill is wrong and they appear all blurred.. .any idea?

@Rico
I’m not sure why the icons are not working for you. The Tango set is a work in progress. Perhaps try a different version of the set from jEsuSdA and see if that works.
