Please don't answer that! ;) @Serge - I haven't wrapped it all into a set of python scripts yet, but I'm determined to do that while I still remember what I did (and while it's still in my terminal history file!) ;) Right now I'm copying terminal commands from my mencoder script library (which is the fancy name for a text file). ;) Man I’m frustrated. I would not have expected possible issues with the order of encoding files with and without b-frames. I am also stunned by the huge drop in file size; more than 50%!
