We have switched web hosting companies. We have gone from Aplus.net (which I love and will miss) to Host Gator. We’re not sure if this will be a temporary change or something long term. We’ll have to monitor our growth which remains small but steadily climbing to see what will be our next step in the future.

After reading several reviews and weighing the good and the bad we settled with Host Gator.  Hopefully they will be a good fit for us. They have offices in Texas and Toronto in case you are interested. Also, I have been on the horn and on the live chat with sales and support a few times already. They were very quick to respond (even on the weekend).

This post should serve as a sort of warning. I haven’t switched over to Host Gator’s DNS yet but when I do things might be a little flaky with the entire heathenx.org domain. Yes, that includes the Screencasters. Host Gator tells me that the change-over might take anywhere between 24-72 hours for the servers all over the world to propagate.  [Cue the waving flags and national anthems]
